SCRATCH ART
WHAT IS SCRATCH ART? 
Shrink Art is an amazing craft activity that mesmerizes and amazes the child in all of us. It lets children experiment with negative and positive areas. Shrink Art is basically an opaque black coating covers a rainbow of translucent colors printed on a plastic sheet.
A 2D art form, they are great for making key chains, greeting cards, picture postcards, tags and other fun items. Try this versatile craft media to create fun keepsakes that will keep memories alive for years to come.
HOW IS IT DONE?
You start with a black sheet. Scratch into the black and the translucent colors show through against a window.
You may use a stencil on top of the scratch art cards and start to scratch the outlines. Finer lines filled up the outlines. A small brush may be used in between scratchings to clean the drawings. Add more patterns or text to embellish the scratch art. Present the finished artwork to your loved ones!
